We’re thrilled to share an exciting development for both Motorsport and electronic manufacturing excellence – our recently announced partnership with British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) Independent Champion Árón Taylor-Smith has shifted into high gear with the news of his move to TOYOTA GAZOO Racing UK for the 2025 season.

At the start of the year when we announced our partnership with Árón, we knew it would represent more than just a sponsorship. As the UK’s market leader in IPC standards training and tailored solutions for electronic manufacturing, this collaboration puts us at the heart of one of British Motorsport’s most prestigious teams. 

Our Managing Director, Mark Yearby, emphasises the strategic timing of this partnership: ‘After a year of record growth for Marq-One, this partnership comes at the perfect time, strengthening our position as the market leader in electronics training for Motorsport. The fact that Árón has now secured a manufacturer-backed drive with Toyota adds another exciting dimension to our collaboration.’ 

We’re particularly excited about Árón’s move to TOYOTA GAZOO Racing UK. It is one of the most successful teams in modern BTCC history – The Toyota Corolla GR Sport has achieved remarkable success since its introduction in 2019, securing: 

• 17 race victories 

• 30 podium finishes 

• 5 pole positions 

• 10 fastest laps 

They seek excellence in Motorsport in the same way we commit to excellence in electronic manufacturing and training solutions. 

Strategic partnerships drive success 

We’re incredibly proud of the unique, reciprocal nature of this partnership. As Taylor-Smith explains: “Marq-One will be on hand to provide training to the team to increase its value, whilst my marketing team will create bespoke content to help cement their place as leaders in Motorsport.” 

This two-way relationship demonstrates how we work together to deliver value beyond traditional sponsorship models. By combining our expertise in electronic manufacturing training with Taylor-Smith’s racing excellence and TOYOTA GAZOO Racing UK’s technical prowess, we’re creating a partnership that drives innovation both on and off the track.

As we approach the 2025 BTCC season, which kicks off at Donington Park on 27th April, we’re poised to showcase our expertise in electronic manufacturing and training to an even wider audience.
